answer:
It is a fact that the rich become wealthier while the poor are living on the breadline. Some people think that the disparity can lead to social unrest and political instability. In my essay i will indicate the negative problems stemmed from this trend and suggest several solutions.
Firstly, the rich-poor gap could be the breeding ground for social unrest and political instability. Obviously, the poor, especially poorly-educated people are imbued with the idea that the rich are the principle force of hindrance to their development. As time goes by, the eclipse of this misunderstanding reaches a peak and leads to discontent, which causes potentially onset of social chaos or even makes them resort to trivial and opt for the life of crime. Secondly, this disparity might be a culprit of discrimination in the future generations. At school, for example, the underprivileged children were treated badly by the rich and hardly mixed well with people surrounding. Consequently, it might enable the affluent children to look down on the poor and grow more arrogant, followed by the erosion of morality.

There are several feasible measures to tackle this issue. a possible solution is for government to impose equitable taxation systems means people will be taxed accordance with the level of income. The revenue can be allocated to other key fields like health care, education which help the poor access services and other life-sustaning matters. Besides, no sooner do rich people donate money to provide the poor with vocational training courses than they feel grateful to the rich and change the hostile attitudes to them, followed by narrowing the gap. In addition, only by taking part in course are the poor equipped with earning skills, therefore, stablizing their lives and attempt to contribute to society.

In conclusion, the rich-poor gap might cause many serious problems in society. However, by giving more incentives to the poor and communities, this problem can be addressed gradually.
