Over the last 10 years, some nations in the west have a seen a close to 20% of obese youngsters. There could be several reasons why this is the case, and it has negative effects on children’s lifestyle and they may suffer from health risks.
There are various reasons why children are getting obese, especially those who are in some western countries. Firstly, because of lack of energy balance and poor diet, children could not be supplied enough essential nutrients, especially with a growing of fast food in the market. McDonald is one of the largest brand in the world, it is famous for its fast food so this shows that people have this kind of food their meals. Another reason why the percentage of obese youngsters has increased about 20% in the last 10 years is due to stress, emotional factors and poor sleep. If they are bored or feel angry, they will eat more than usual, so this leads to the increase in the rates of obesity.
In my view, getting overweight has negative effects on children’s life and they are at increased risk for many health conditions. One of the major concerns is that they could suffer from cardiovascular disease and health-related consequences like coronary heart disease. Another serious impact on their life is that high blood pressure. Because this ailments could not be cured permanently, it would be very dangerous for children. Besides, getting obese could cause many significant impacts on children’s life like stroke and cancers.
In conclusion, there are repercussions of obesity which could make youngsters suffer from serious diseases because of some eating habits and contributing factors.
