Oppinions are divided on whether tertiary level education should be based on student,s favourite subjects or only sciene and IT related subjects should be taught. In my opinion ,although studying science and technology ensure more job guarentee ,however ,other subjects which are willingly opted by students also worth in terms of creativity and more focused efforts being put in by them.

On the one hand, it was widely accepted in the past university education should be based solely on the subjects of interest due to variety of reasons. The foremost point is that students pay more attention to the content which ultimatly leads to incredibly outstanding performance in studies. For instance, a recent study in Harvard Business School clearly showed that topper university students were those who choosed business by their own interest.Another imperative argument with this regrard is the concept of creativity, which is believed by the educationists, is being incorporated by adult puipls only when they learning their favourite subject. Therefore,it is worth demanding that students at tertiery level should given the free choice regarding their studies .

However, inspite of above mentioned arguments, studying science and technology at university level is considered to be of vital importance by some of the people because of hightened demand in job market as well as to boost a country,s economy .With regards to the former, it is statistically proven that 3 out of 5 jobs in the market are relating to IT nowadays. Moreover, economists ,the world over believe that if a country stop outsourcing man power ,specificlly for the field of technology, can save huge amout of outgoig money .Hence ,it is plausible to emphasise more on these subjects to be taught in universities as compared to the arts or literature.

To conclude, it is prudent to encourge university students to study their favourite subjects, however, importance of subjects in demands such as IT can be ignored and higher education system should take few viable steps to fill the deficiency in job marekt.

*whenever you want to use abbreviation, make sure you write it in full form first, then put the abbreviation on brackets. After that you can use it as you want. 😉
