Although, Video camera has become common in many countries. According to some, it is thought that this is an invasion of our privacy. In my opinion, I consider that Video cameras can bring more benefits for people compare to the the minor drawback it might bring.
Despite of the drawback below, I believe that an individual benefits more by Video security system. Firstly, People gets awareness by seeing the cameras. This helps people to carry on their daily task with out having any fear, in which, consequently, people feel safety. Secondly, Video surveillance remind criminals not to break the laws. For instance, in developed countries, many place such as in shopping malls, local markets, cctv caught people  before committing major crimes. Being watched all the time prevents having big crimes in the country. It gives the awareness to the nation to act quickly regarding their opponents.
Admittedly, there are some issues involves when video camera become common in public places. One problem is that it restrict an individual privacy. Being a human being, people have a rights not to be controlled. If the video security become common, people face lack of freedom and being isolated from their surrounding. For example, around 90% of UK shopping mall have a cctv cameras, even in front of toilet and in changing room. That condition might embarrassed an individual. The another negative aspect is that video cameras can distract an individual while doing their work. So if camera interfere in individual daily life. This can be a problem.
In conclusion, I would argue that the advantages of using video camera in public places outweigh the disadvantages.
