First impressions are important. Some people think that doing well in interviews is the key to securing  the position.

Do you agree or disagree?

Being presented well in interviews are generally perceived most important step of being accepted to an organization among the societies, however, I compelety disagree with those who think that interviews are the key to get the wished position.

Firstly, in my opinion, companies are more likely to assess their employes in long-term as they generally aim to work with permanent and faithful workers. The probation period is the evidence of it. For example, a person who exaggerates his talents to be allowed to work with the company and who achieved the position, can be fired after being tested two weeks or one month, when his abilities are understood to be insufficent. İf it was the case to evaluate people according to first impressions, the process of extracting would be different so thus applicants would be just consisted of good-looking people.

Secondly, it is known that employes tend to be more active and mannered in the interviews, and I believe, human resources managements are aware of this and they are eager to strictly observe applicants for a long time, rather than simply deliver them the position. For example, an applicant can be a polyglot and can document this ability of himself, in addition to this, he can be very-talented person in theory such as in informatics for example or he can assert that he can easily overcome difficult situations and this person have may presented himself in an effective way in the interview, however, even though all these abilities effected human resources, they wouldnot be convinced without testing this person in pratice.

İn conclusion, I believe that first impressions cannot be sign of getting the job as I underscored above. I believe applicants are  more likely to be tested in long-term to be permanent in the position.

Being presented well in interviews are generally perceived considered as the most important step of being accepted to an organization among the societies, (run-on sentence) however, I completely disagree with those who think that interviews are the key to get the wished position.

Firstly, in my opinion, companies (companies do not, managers do!!!) employers are more likely to assess interact with their employees in long-term as thus they generally aim to work with permanent and faithful workers. The probation period is the evidence of it. For example, a person who exaggerates his talents to be allowed to work with the company and who achieved the position, can still be fired after being tested two weeks or one month, when his hands-on abilities are understood to be insufficent. İf evaluation is all about the case to evaluate people according to first impressions, the process of extracting would be different so thus (‘thus’ or ‘so’ only, they have same meaning!!! ‘so’ is non-academic) applicants would probably be just (non-academic) consisted of (why passive voice here???) good-looking people.

Secondly, it is known that employes are tend to (same meaning!!!) be more active and mannered in the interviews, and I believe, human resources managements are aware of this and they are eager to strictly observe applicants for a long time, rather than simply deliver them the position. For example, an applicant can be a polyglot and can document this ability of himself, in addition to this, he can be very-talented (non-academic for ‘very’ and no need ‘-‘) person in theory such as in informatics for example (‘such as’ and ‘for example’ same meaning!!!) or he can assert that he can easily (2 ‘can’???) overcome difficult situations and this person have may presented himself in an effective way in the interview, however, even though all these abilities effected human resources, they wouldnot be convinced without testing this person in pratice. (confusing!!! This idea is pretty much similar to previous one!!!)

İn conclusion, I believe that first impressions cannot be a sign of getting the job as I underscored above. I believe the qualifications of applicants are  more likely to be tested (?!) -> should be tested in long-term to be permanent in the position.
Feedback
Task achievement: 4.0 (only 1 idea is presented, evidence is not supportive and strong enough, some examples are poorly developed and confusing)
Cohesion and coherence: 4.0 (poor flow, confusing ideas, run-on sentence with a lot of mistakes of using words having same meaning)
Lexical Resource: 4.0 (limited vocabs)
Grammar Range and Accuracy: 4.0 (complex sentence structures are poorly handled)
Overall: 4.0 (need improvement, lack of ideas and vocabs)
